Tiffany Taylor’s Amazon Review
Tiffany Janes Taylor was doing some research and came across my book. After she read it she reached out to me and posted a wonderful review of it on Amazon. Here is what she said:
I stumbled on Jothy Rosenberg’s book, Who Says I Can’t, while doing my own research on Osteosarcoma. I am an 11 year cancer survivor. I was 15 when I found out I had Osteosarcoma. His book left me inspired and amazed at how the human spirit can rise above any given situation. I wasn’t even born when he was struggling to survive, but I feel as though we are connected through similiar experiances some 20 years later. I felt as though I was not alone and that even though I have never met Jothy, I got him. Through his words, it was like he reached out and knew the inner thoughts of my heart. Powerful stuff if you ask me!!
But, I don’t think this book is just about cancer. I think you can take that part out and insert whatever difficulty you have had in your life and apply his attitude. My favorite line in the book was this:
“I might have thought I had died and gone to heaven…if I wasn’t so happy not to have died.” Wow. What a powerful statement. Not sure why that phrase stuck with me. I guess maybe because going through cancer every milestone seems to be such a great accomplishment. Every step taken is a giant leap. What some might take advantage of every day, marks independence and freedom for others! I’ll never forget after my second knee replacement finally being able to bend my knee enough to put my own socks on!! Who knew that would bring so much pride! I think you can apply “Who Says I Can’t?” to every aspect of your life. It is a great read and I think will leave you wanting to look at your own life and ask that same question!
