Dick Vitale tells the story on ESPN Radio
Dick Vitale is at the center of the sports universe and has been for many years. But what he really has a passion for is raising tons of money for cancer research largely through his association with the Jimmy V Foundation named for the late Jimmy Valvano the coach of the NC State basketball team and victim of cancer. Today Dick was on ESPN Radio talking about his gala that evening and he was kind enough to mention me in his interview (go to 17:00 into the interview to hear that segment). I was also invited to be at the Gala where Dick highlighted my story very nicely as well. The Gala raised over $1M in just one evening! Click here for the ESPN Radio link.
